Mr. Tiedemann's business credentials extend well beyond traditional legal practice. As former Vice President and General Counsel of a private equity investment firm and real estate development company, he advised on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financial transactions, deal structuring, government contracts, and complex commercial negotiations. In that role, he provides legal counsel on a wide range of business, employment, procurement, real estate, regulatory, and governmental matters affecting one of Maryland's largest state agencies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Tiedemann served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maryland, where he represented Maryland transportation agencies in technology and construction procurement disputes, bid protests, performance bond litigation, and complex government contracting matters. He also investigated corporate governance and ownership issues involving minority-business certifications and contractor compliance.

A respected appellate advocate, Mr. Tiedemann began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Glenn T. Harrell, Jr., then of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and later a Justice of the Maryland Supreme Court. During that clerkship, he assisted in drafting judicial opinions involving corporate governance, fiduciary duties, administrative law, constitutional law, civil procedure, employment disputes, and complex commercial matters.

Mr. Tiedemann's educational background reflects the analytical foundation that distinguishes his practice. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with highest honors and earned a Master of Science in Administration with concentration in business and quantitative analysis.
